Alexis Mac Allister’s earth-shaking strike against Tottenham Hotspur at Anfield has been voted Liverpool’s Goal of the Season for 2024-25.
The midfielder’s effort from the edge of the box put the Reds ahead as they turned the April clash around to win 5-1 and clinch the Premier League title.
Mac Allister’s left-footer was rifled into the top corner of the net and produced an actual seismic event, reaching a peak magnitude of 1.74 on the Richter scale.
It ran out as the winner in our Goal of the Season poll on Liverpoolfc.com, ahead of Mohamed Salah’s finish against Manchester United at Old Trafford early in the campaign.
Another Mac Allister long-range drive in April, away at Fulham, ranked third, while Salah’s emphatic strike at home to Brighton & Hove Albion placed fourth.
Darwin Nunez’s acute curler versus AFC Bournemouth at Anfield rounded out the top five.
