KUWAIT: Abdullah Al-Salem University (ASU) on Monday began receiving applications for the 2025-2026 academic year through its official website, with the registration window remaining open until July 17. In a press statement, Acting Chairman of ASU’s Founding Board of Directors Dr Adel Al-Hussainan said prospective students must submit applications via the university’s electronic system, which is linked with various official bodies to allow automatic retrieval of required documents without the need for in-person visits. These bodies include the Ministry of Education, the Civil Service Bureau, the Public Institution for Social Security, and the Public Authority for Civil Information, among others.
As part of its admissions campaign, ASU also launched the 2025-2026 University Admissions Fair at its campus in Khaldiya. The fair, which runs concurrently with the application period until July 17, aims to familiarize students with the university’s academic offerings and provide guidance in selecting suitable majors. Dr Al-Hussainan emphasized that the fair reflects the university’s commitment to helping students make informed academic choices that align with their interests and future aspirations. “The exhibition offers a close look at the colleges, academic programs, and specializations available, while providing students and parents with direct access to university representatives to answer all inquiries,” he said.
The event has seen broad participation from both public and private sector institutions, including the Civil Service Bureau and several leading banks. Their involvement contributes to offering a comprehensive view of academic and career pathways, from undergraduate studies to postgraduate opportunities. Acting Dean of Admissions and Registration Dr Ahmed Al-Mutawa said the admissions team is fully available throughout the fair to assist applicants and ensure a seamless registration process. He encouraged students to carefully review application requirements and eligibility criteria on the university’s website.
Dr Al-Mutawa wished all applicants success in achieving their academic ambitions and contributing to Kuwait’s national development goals in line with Kuwait Vision 2035. The participation of the Civil Service Bureau underscores efforts to align academic specializations with labor market needs and guide students toward high-demand fields that support national priorities. The admissions fair serves as an interactive platform connecting students and parents with academic and administrative departments, reinforcing ASU’s role in advancing higher education in Kuwait. — KUNA
