KUWAIT CITY: Kuwait University, through its College of Graduate Studies, signed a memorandum of understanding with the Education and Training Evaluation Authority in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, aimed at strengthening academic cooperation and enhancing mutual expertise in the fields of measurement, evaluation, accreditation, and university admission assessments. The agreement was signed in the presence of Acting Dean of the College of Graduate Studies Prof Dr Ahmed Al-Makhyal, representing Kuwait University Director Prof Dr Dina Al-Maylam, alongside Maryam Al-Ansari, Director of the Planning and Development Department at the College of Graduate Studies.

The MoU seeks to foster collaboration through the exchange of knowledge and best practices, while also facilitating the organization of joint workshops and specialized training courses between the two institutions. Commenting on the signing, Dr Al-Makhyal emphasized that the agreement represents an important step toward reinforcing academic quality and accreditation standards at Kuwait University. “This collaboration is a strategic opportunity to elevate the quality of educational outcomes by leveraging the expertise of the Saudi authority in building robust quality frameworks and implementing comprehensive evaluation and accreditation mechanisms,” he said.
He further praised the Saudi model in education and training as a globally recognized benchmark, describing it as forward-looking and aligned with future institutional excellence. “The visit showcased an integrated and inspiring experience that Kuwait University can draw upon in its pursuit of academic and institutional development,” Dr Al-Makhyal added.
