The club published the new ticketing principles last year that underpin the ticketing review, and those principles highlight the desire to make ticketing simpler and easier to understand for all supporters.
Following extensive feedback from supporters via recent surveys and fan focus groups, it was clear there was a desire for more transparency and increased communication from the club with regards to access to tickets.
LFC acknowledges the need to improve ticket access for supporters through the ticketing review, with this being highlighted as a priority through the supporter research done this season, with almost 100,000 survey responses received.
The club can now share data from the 2024-25 season with the aim of helping supporters understand the breakdown of tickets in the stadium, the chance of success for tickets for members, and more.
There are almost 34,000 season ticket holders across general admission and seasonal hospitality who get access to every Premier League home fixture. On average, once all sales, ticket exchange and forwarding have taken place, there are 21,000 members in attendance at Anfield for a Premier League home game. Across the July and November members’ sales for the 2024-25 season, 50 per cent of all official LFC members applied for tickets for Premier League home games and 29 per cent of those were successful in obtaining a ticket. Anfield was sold out for all Premier League home games and on average 1,466 tickets were not used, a number which will hopefully reduce as a result of the new Every Seat, Every Game initiative that will apply to general admission season ticket holders.
Supporters who would like to view ticketing and membership statistics from the 2024-25 season in more detail can do so here.
Members will receive an email this week to inform them of how many credits they accrued in 2024-25, and the club would like to remind supporters of the ways they can access tickets for men’s first-team fixtures.
Supporters must be registered to a 25/26 All Red Light, Full or Junior membership to gain priority access to tickets through the All Red members’ sales. Go here to purchase All Red. All Red Members can apply to purchase Premier League home game tickets via the All Red members’ sale, with details for the July sale due to be announced soon. All Red members can also purchase Premier League home game tickets via the additional members’ sales and ticket exchange (TEX), which open in the week prior to each fixture. Please note that general admission tickets released on the TEX are only resold to eligible members at face value.Qualifying season ticket holders and members can access home cup tickets via the Auto Cup Scheme; tickets are also made available for sale to eligible supporters ahead of each game, subject to availability.
Ticket sales information for each fixture will be posted on the club’s ticket availability page.
Please note that the projected number of tickets allocated to 13+ members is expected to be lower for the 2025-26 season due to suspicious accounts being deactivated as part of the club’s ongoing anti-touting work.
LFC aims to continue to share transparent data with supporters every season to further increase the understanding of the club’s ticketing strategy and any future changes.
