Liverpool’s Olivia Smith has been shortlisted for two prizes at the inaugural Women’s Professional Game Awards.
Smith’s excellent debut campaign in the Barclays Women’s Super League has been recognised with nominations for WSL Player of the Season and WSL Rising Star.
The 20-year-old forward will find out whether she has won either of those honours on Sunday evening.

The winners will be determined via a variety of voting methods – including input from the WPLL board, the Football Writers’ Association and Football Supporters’ Association.
But supporters have a say in the Player of the Season award and can vote for Smith here.
The Canada international has been a standout performer for the Reds throughout 2024-25 after completing her summer switch from Sporting CP.
Ahead of this weekend’s season finale at Chelsea, she has scored seven goals from her 19 league appearances – all starts – this term.
