The Barclays Women’s Super League season will start in the autumn after a thrilling summer of women’s sport with the European Championship kicking off today in Switzerland.
It is set to be an exciting second season at St Helens Stadium after the Reds relocated home venue last term. St Helens was recently named as the best UK town for girls’ football, showing the region’s future for the game is strong and a great backdrop for the next WSL campaign.
The team will also contest another hat-trick of WSL fixtures at Anfield in 2025-26.

WSL fixtures for the new season will be released at 10am on Friday July 25, revealing who the Reds will face in the opening game in September. Cup ties and dates will be confirmed later.
