– Bayer Leverkusen are willing to offer Jadon Sancho a career lifeline this summer, according to The Sun. Manchester United have reduced the transfer fee they are seeking for the player in order to facilitate his permanent exit, following a mixed loan spell at Chelsea. The Sun claims that Sancho could be available for as little as £20 million, although the winger’s wage demands could prove to be a stumbling block for Leverkusen. The 25-year-old is no stranger to the German game, having enjoyed two spells with Borussia Dortmund. However, it remains to be seen whether he’d be willing to return to the Bundesliga for a third time.
– Real Sociedad midfielder Martín Zubimendi is set to join Arsenal this summer on a permanent transfer, according to Noticias de Gipuzkoa. ESPN reported in April that the Gunners were in advanced negotiations and were willing to meet the player’s €60m release clause. The Spain international turned down a move to Liverpool last summer and has also been a target of Real Madrid. Zubimendi, 26, has a contract with Real Sociedad until June 2027 but has rejected offers to extend his deal.

– Leroy Sané remains open to the idea of extending his contract at Bayern Munich despite reported interest in the player from Arsenal, Florian Plettenberg reports. While the 29-year-old is willing to accept the pay cut that Bayern are proposing, his new agent has submitted a counter-offer for the Bundesliga champions to mull over. As per Sky Germany, the offer coming from Sané’s team includes a fixed salary of €12m, which is €2m more than was previously offered by Bayern — who seemingly have no intention of improving their proposal.
– Bayer Leverkusen believe there is a “50-50” chance of Germany forward Florian Wirtz remaining at the club next season, Sky Germany reports. The 22-year-old has been linked with interest from Bayern Munich, Manchester City and Real Madrid after starring in Leverkusen’s unbeaten Bundesliga title-winning campaign last season. Despite having a contract for another two years and Leverkusen expected to demand a transfer fee of up to €140m, the club are being realistic about the prospect of him remaining with them beyond the summer.
